Charlotte Skinner Interiors is a full-service design firm serving Austin and the Texas Hill Country. Charlotte’s unique design aesthetic draws inspiration from antique buying trips to Marché aux Puce, the South of France, and from Greece where she studied classical architectural details where they were originally conceived.
Her signature style combines these classic details and antiques with clean-lined silhouettes, natural materials, collected objects, original art, custom draperies and furniture to create spaces that are elegant yet comfortable for every day living.
With over 15 years of experience, Charlotte is well versed in creating spaces uniquely suited for each client’s individual taste and lifestyle. At highly acclaimed Booziotis & Company Architects in Dallas, she served as Project Manager for homes in University Park and Highland Park. As the Interior Designer at Rohe & Wright in Houston, Charlotte has designed numerous homes in Memorial, River Oaks, West University, Royal Oaks and Carlton Woods.
Having earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University, Charlotte has a solid foundation in classic architectural details like proportion and scale as well as space planning, construction methods and details. Charlotte is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
In her spare time, Charlotte can often be found scouring vintage and antique shops hunting for treasure that makes her spaces come to life.
